Taste the best wines from a boutique winery nestled in the heart of Tuscany.

Giuseppe will be back to talk about his delicious wines and also about our group trip to his fantastic Tuscan farmhouse.

We will also enjoy light snacks. $60 per person

Enjoy an evening out with friends for a wine tasting with sommelier Christian Galliani. Christian was on the wine team at Del Posto, Lead Sommelier at Tarry Lodge where he won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, and Beverage Manager at Eataly’s Osteria della Pace.  

This event is limited to 20 people.

All participants must be either vaccinated or show a negative covid test within 48 hours of the tour.  

If you’ve ever dreamed of meandering around Arthur Avenue’s historic markets and stores, snacking and shopping, stocking your pantry like an Italian nonna and gathering ingredients for a big Sunday supper, this is the tour for you. 

You’ll learn the history of each shop from our knowledgeable guide, meet the shopkeepers, and enjoy delicious tastings along the way.

We will also provide transportation to and from Ciao Amici. This is limited to 14 people so register quickly before it sells out.

This is a new class we just developed that we are sure you will enjoy!

We will talk about three things very important to Italian culture, Food, Wine & Art.

Filomena will cook with us a quick recipe from the Tuscan Region. Then our sommelier Rafaella will talk to us about the wine and how it pairs with the food.

And Giovanna, our art expert who studied in Florence, will talk about the influence of wine in painting.

For this first class in what we hope to be a series, we will talk about the famous painting of Bacchus by Caravaggio.

We look forward to spending this cultural Italian experience with you.

Ciao Amici will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary and what better way to celebrate than with wine!! We will be tasting one white and two red wines, with a sommelier live from Rome.

She will give us great tips on how to taste the wine and what we should be looking for in a good wine. And all who register will be entered into a raffle to win a free bottle of wine (prize must be picked up at Ciao Amici).

Once you register we will email you the list of wines. If you purchase at NJ Wineseller in Cranford and mention the Ciao Amici wine tasting you will be given a discount.
